Role Overview:

This Modern Trade Operations role is responsible for driving operational excellence within the Modern Trade channel across Bangalore. The individual will work closely with the sales team, distributors, and retail partners to ensure smooth execution of sales plans, efficient inventory management, and effective promotional activities. This role directly impacts the company's ability to maximize sales and market share within the Modern Trade segment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize sales and distribution within the Modern Trade channel in Bangalore.

- Manage relationships with key Modern Trade partners, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions.

- Monitor inventory levels at distributor and retail outlets to minimize stockouts and overstocking, maximizing product availability for consumers.

- Coordinate promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives with the sales and marketing teams to drive sales growth.

- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies within the Modern Trade channel.

- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize product delivery and ensure timely replenishment of stocks.

- Train and support the sales team on operational best practices and Modern Trade specific requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize operations within the Modern Trade channel in the FMCG industry.

- Strong understanding of FMCG sales processes, distribution networks, and retail dynamics.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
