About the Role:
MobiKwik is looking for a seasoned Director of Product to lead critical merchant and platform product charters that are central to the company's growth and monetization strategy. This role will own end-to-end product vision, strategy, execution, and scale for high-impact product portfolios including merchant devices, onboarding platforms, subscription engines, risk and limits management, and monetization frameworks.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in building 0-1 and 1-N products in fintech/payments ecosystems, working closely with business, engineering, risk, and data teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and revenue-generating products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for core merchant product portfolios, including:
1. Merchant Devices (EDC, Soundbox, and allied hardware products)
2. Merchant Onboarding and Lifecycle Platforms
3. Subscription and Billing Engine
4. Limits, Risk and Controls Management
5. Monetization and Pricing Platforms
- Define clear product vision and success metrics aligned with business growth, revenue, and operational efficiency.
- Build scalable product frameworks to support rapid merchant acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Drive monetization strategies, pricing models, and revenue optimization across merchant products.
- Partner closely with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure products meet regulatory and internal risk standards.
- Use data-driven insights to identify product opportunities, optimize funnels, and improve product performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of product management experience.
- Strong background in FinTech, Payments and Lending.
- Proven experience owning merchant-facing platforms, onboarding systems, or monetization products.
- Deep understanding of risk, limits, compliance, and regulatory considerations in financial products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-first mindset.
- Experience working at scale with high-volume, transaction-heavy systems.
