
Job Title: Assistant Manager - Human Resources (Workday Implementation)
Location: Bangalore

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant Manager with strong exposure to Workday implementation and HR operations across global environments. The role will be responsible for supporting HR transformation initiatives, managing HR systems (especially Workday), and ensuring seamless HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This position requires a blend of HR functional expertise and HRIS implementation experience across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Workday Implementation & HRIS Management
- Lead and support Workday implementation across multiple geographies, with strong exposure to UK and India implementations.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, HR teams, and implementation partners to configure and deploy Workday solutions across regions.
- Participate in requirement gathering, system design, configuration validation, and deployment for global HR processes.
- Manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing), data migration, integrations, and ensure data accuracy across regions.
- Ensure localization requirements (UK and India) including compliance, payroll inputs, leave structures, and statutory elements are correctly configured.
- Provide post-implementation support, continuous improvements, and enhancement of Workday modules.
- Develop SOPs, user manuals, and conduct global user training sessions.
2) HR Operations
- Manage and streamline end-to-end HR operations aligned with Workday workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy, reporting, and dashboard creation through Workday for leadership review.
- Support onboarding, employee lifecycle management, performance processes, and exit management through system-driven processes.
- Coordinate with payroll and finance teams to ensure seamless integration and reporting.
3) Stakeholder & Global Coordination
- Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams across UK, India, and other global offices.
- Act as a key SPOC for HRIS and Workday-related matters across regions.
- Drive alignment of global HR processes while ensuring local compliance requirements.
4) Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure HR systems and processes adhere to local statutory requirements in India and the UK.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and process standardization across global HR.
- Drive best practices in HR analytics, reporting, and documentation.
Key Requirements:
- 8-10 years of HR experience with hands-on Workday implementation experience across multiple geographies.
- Mandatory experience implementing or supporting Workday across UK and India.
- Strong understanding of global HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and implementation partners.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel and HR analytics/reporting capability preferred.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in HR or related field.
- Workday certification or direct implementation experience preferred.
- Experience in global or shared services environment will be an advantage.
