
Role Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic consultant to the leadership of a specific Global Technology vertical.
This role is responsible for driving HR initiatives that support the business objectives, including talent management, organizational design, and high-performance culture building.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnering: Align HR strategy with the business strategy of the technology vertical.
- Advise senior leaders on key people-related decisions, organizational change, and workforce planning.
- Talent Management: Lead annual performance management cycles, talent reviews, succession planning, and individual development plan creation for the business unit.
- Organizational Development: Design and implement effective organizational structures and job roles that maximize efficiency and scalability for the technology team.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Manage complex employee relations issues and champion initiatives to foster an inclusive, high-engagement, and high-performance work culture.
- Compensation & Rewards: Collaborate with the C&B team to ensure compensation and reward programs are competitive and effectively drive desired employee behaviors and retention.
- Data & Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics (e.g., attrition, engagement scores, performance distribution) to diagnose organizational health and inform strategic HR solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Full-time MBA in Human Resources (or an equivalent PGD/PGDM from a premier B-School like XLRI, TISS, IIMs).
- Experience: 4-7 years of post-MBA experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Consultant, preferably supporting a technology or R&D-focused business unit.
- Expertise: Strong conceptual and practical knowledge across all HR domains: Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Performance Management, and Labor Law compliance.
- Skills: Excellent emotional intelligence, impeccable communication and coaching skills, high ethical standards, and a proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
