MKU - Associate Vice President - Corporate Finance & Strategy

Role Summary

The Associate Vice President will play a crucial role in shaping the firm's financial strategy, managing capital structure, and leading Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and fundraising activities.

This is a high-visibility role requiring a strong foundation in corporate finance, financial modeling, and strategic negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

- M&A and Investment: Lead the end-to-end process for potential acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments, including target screening, due diligence, valuation, and integration planning.

- Financial Planning: Develop and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models) to evaluate business initiatives, capital expenditure proposals, and strategic options.

- Capital Management: Manage the firm's capital structure, optimizing debt-equity mix, and evaluating various financing options (e.g., debt syndication, private equity, public markets).

- Board Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial and strategic presentations for the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business unit heads, legal, and treasury teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with operational goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Full-time MBA in Finance or an equivalent qualification (e.g., CA with an MBA) from a premier institute.

- CFA certification is a strong plus.

- Experience: 6-10 years of experience, with a significant portion in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or a Corporate Development/Strategy role within a large corporation.

- Expertise: Impeccable skills in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.

Strong understanding of capital markets and regulatory frameworks.

- Skills: High level of attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, excellent negotiation, and interpersonal skills
