ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and Execution:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
- Identify and explore new market opportunities and potential clients.
2. Goal Setting and Monitoring:
- Set clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for the sales team.
- Establish incentive slabs for the Customer Relationship Management and Sales teams.
- Calculate, derive, and publish monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual targets for all team members, and create an incentive plan, for those achieving the set targets.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the entire sales team, including Assistant Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and support staff
3. Sales Process Management:
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
- Develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty, leading to repeat business and referrals.
- Oversee the optimization of sales processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure the sales team has the tools and support needed to achieve their targets.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and submit reports on lead generation and conversion based on digital marketing campaigns and outdoor marketing activities.
- Implement new software tools to streamline existing processes.
- Maintain a master database of leads generated through various sources, analyze these leads to identify prospective customers, and provide inputs to the Marketing and Digital Marketing teams.
5. Sales Training and Support:
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans to ensure all team members meet or exceed their targets. Implement sales training for new projects, including project portfolios and lifecycle.
- Close sales call in coordination with the Sales Team.
- Define and lead regular forums for sales to ensure preparedness and gather feedback for improvements.
6. Market and Customer Insight:
- Identify critical success factors leading to closed deals and factors contributing to rejections.
- Monitor market trends and changes in customer demands.
- Develop strategies to meet customer needs.
- Assist in generating strategic marketing plans and campaigns.
- Initiate, nurture, and grow customer relationships.
- Collaborate with other project teams to identify potential roadblocks.
- Utilize various sales task management tools.
