Job Title: MIS & Reconciliation Analyst (CA Professional)

Location: Mumbai

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CA professional to join our team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Stock Broking or Financial Services industry, with proven expertise in MIS reporting, data reconciliation, and advanced Excel skills.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy and providing insightful analysis to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- MIS Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present various Management Information System (MIS) reports to key stakeholders.

- This includes performance reports, operational metrics, and other relevant data to aid in decision-making.

- Data Reconciliation: Perform thorough reconciliation of financial and operational data from various sources to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

- Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain variances between actual results and budgeted/forecasted figures, providing clear and concise explanations.

- Advanced Excel & Macros: Develop and maintain complex Excel models, including the use of macros, to automate reporting processes, enhance data analysis capabilities, and improve efficiency.

- Data Management: Assist in maintaining data integrity and accuracy across various systems.

- Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to gather data, understand reporting requirements, and provide analytical support.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing reporting and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications:

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified.

Experience: Proven experience 2-5 Years in MIS reporting, data reconciliation, and financial analysis, specifically within the Stock Broking or Financial Services sector.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including extensive experience with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, and macro creation (VBA).

- Strong understanding of data reconciliation techniques and principles.

- Familiarity with financial reporting standards.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for interacting with internal teams and presenting findings clearly.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
