Key Roles & Responsibilities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients in the consumer sector / Industrials sector
- Understand client capital raising needs and provide tailored ECM solutions, including IPOs, FPOs, QIPs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent, professional, and timely service.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for ECM products in the consumer sector / Industrials sector
- Develop and implement strategies for client acquisition, targeting both public and private companies.
- Maintain a strong network within the investment banking and capital markets industry to discover new prospects.
Execution & Sales:
- Coordinate with Insti Sales for roadshows
- Participate in business chapters of the offer document for ensuring the smooth execution of ECM transactions.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Stay updated on market trends and industry news, analyzing their impact on ECM opportunities.
- Prepare market research, competitor analysis, and client pitch materials.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Lead negotiations with clients to close deals and achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure all ECM transactions are structured efficiently, focusing on client objectives and risk mitigation.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship (Senior Manager Level):
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and refine origination strategies.
Education:
- A CA or MBA from a reputable institution is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in ECM coverage, with a demonstrated track record in business development and client relationship management.
Skills:
- In-depth understanding of equity capital markets, including IPOs, follow-ons, and other equity financing methods.
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments, equity valuations, and capital market transactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to create pitch presentations and reports.
