Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller / Senior Finance Manager with strong expertise in financial reporting, manufacturing finance, costing, commercial finance, and working capital management. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with FMCG or consumer goods, with proven experience in leading finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Control

Lead monthly and annual financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance.

Strengthen financial controls, governance, and accounting processes.

Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and MIS reporting.

2. Manufacturing Finance & Costing

Oversee plant finance, product costing, inventory valuation, and cost optimization.

Analyze manufacturing costs and drive productivity and margin improvement.

Partner with operations to improve cost efficiency.

3. Sales & Commercial Finance

Provide financial insights for pricing, margins, trade schemes, and commercial decisions.

Monitor sales profitability and customer/channel performance.

Support business teams with financial planning and decision-making.

4. Working Capital & Cash Flow

Manage working capital, cash flow, receivables, inventory, and payables.

Drive initiatives to optimize cash conversion and liquidity.

5. Strategic & Leadership Role

Partner with senior leadership on business strategy and financial planning.

Lead and mentor the finance team.

Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

Required Candidate Profile

CA qualification is mandatory.

years of relevant experience in FMCG / Consumer Goods.

Strong experience in manufacturing finance and commercial finance.

Expertise in costing, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, working capital, and financial controls.

Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
