- Senior Manager Indirect Regional Teams. Leads teams of Indirect Procurement Professionals in India. Provide leadership for building and implementing department strategies, processes, and policy through active oversight of the regional teams and projects, and mentor regional leaders and team members through collaboration and the development of sustainably successful solutions.

- Responsible for conveying corporate business initiatives, aligning team and individual goals to business objectives, and driving overall high performance within the team and the department. Build and Execute Regional Plan for Indirect Categories.

- Work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan strategic sourcing direction for category.

- Recommend targets for spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, supplier management and supply base optimization.

- Define and deliver category Asia Indirect cost savings and scorecard metric targets, monitor and report out progress to targets. Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions.

- Monitor and adjust category compliance (risk, spend, quality, supplier segmentation, management).

- Monitor the implementation of sourcing strategies and contract compliance and participate in the resolution of any constraints or issues.

- Communicate sourcing trends and results in Asia for assigned categories to the Category Director and/or global category teams.

- Maintain supplier segmentation map for category, and build partnerships with strategic suppliers.

- Lead and Manage Procurement Regional Category Teams.

- Support building a skilled Indirect Procurement team (recruitment, training, staffing, and retention) for Asia region.

- Build consensus on assigned category strategic plan and refine (if required).

- Drive team engage, inspiring and motivating the team to do their best and achieve aggressive goals.

- Provide leadership on Global Procurement initiatives, providing clarity and line of sight for the regional team.

- Assist Category Director in building integrated strategic plan.

- Represent Micron in industry and professional forums.

- Interface with Stakeholders, Partners, and Suppliers on Category Strategies.

- Initiate and sustain effective communication with stakeholders, partners and suppliers (top down).

- Share regional updates back to the global category teams (bottom up).

- Escalate issues, offering options and recommendation for resolution.

- Communicate strategic sourcing goals, category management plans, initiatives and targets.

- Maintain relationships with supplier senior executives.

- Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions.

- Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with Category Director, Category Supplier Managers, and Global Supplier Managers.

- Implement processes to monitor stakeholder satisfaction with key suppliers.

- Drive proactive approach with Stakeholders when solving issues and representing Procurement.

- Manage conflict and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide advice to senior and executive management on strategic decisions related to the category.
