Job Title: Micro Market CEO Mumbai - Series B Startup
Location: Mumbai (Powai)
Experience: 10-15 Years
Reporting To: Co-Founder
Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week
Role Overview:
- We are hiring a high-performing business leader to run a micromarket as an independent P&L owner. This is a "mini-CEO" role where you will drive revenue growth, manage profitability, lead local teams, and build strong broker and customer networks.
- You will work directly with the founders and play a critical role in scaling the company's footprint in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
1. P&L Ownership & Revenue Growth
- Own the end-to-end P&L of the assigned micro market (- 10-20 Cr annual revenue).
- Drive revenue growth while improving unit economics.
- Build and execute local go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize conversion funnels.
2. Sales & Market Development
- Develop and manage broker/channel partner relationships.
- Drive property supply acquisition and customer closures.
- Identify growth opportunities within the micro market.
- Ensure consistent achievement of sales and revenue targets.
3. Team Leadership & Execution
- Lead and manage a team of 6-8 members.
- Set performance targets and ensure strong execution discipline.
- Build a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
- Coordinate with central teams (Marketing, Product, Ops).
4. Customer Experience & Brand Building
- Ensure seamless customer journey and high NPS.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks impacting customer satisfaction.
-Build brand presence within the local ecosystem.
5. Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving
- Analyze market trends, competition, and pricing dynamics.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency.
- Implement structured processes to scale sustainably.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Graduate/Postgraduate from Tier-1 institutions (IITs, IIMs, ISB, BITS, top NITs, leading DU colleges preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in Sales, Growth, Category Management, Business Operations, or Strategy.
- Proven experience managing revenue targets and/or P&L.
- Experience leading teams or cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and execution bias.
- Experience in high-growth startups or hyperlocal businesses preferred.
