ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities:
The responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Evaluating credit currently, revenue currently, and ensuring correct SAP entries are made - auditing the same.
- Overseeing and managing the accounts receivable ledger for the courier division, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to customers for services rendered.
- Credit evaluation of new customers as per SOP, ensuring valid bank guarantee and KYC, and securing appropriate approvals to onboard new customers.
- Ensuring invoicing is done by the respective branch CRMs promptly.
- Coordinating all statutory payments of the branch to vendors.
- Handling the accounts receivable and payable, customers of the branch, credit control, and follow-up.
- Creating and accounting branch-wise P&L, branch profitability, customer-wise profitability, and P&L of all sub-branches in the station.
- Visiting the warehouses and CFS under the branch, understanding the financial operations, P&L, and auditing the same.
- Meeting with vendors, negotiating credit terms and pricing.
- Look into the entire admin requirements of the branch.
- Ensuring timely payment to vendors and associates of the branch.
- Cross-verifying bills before payments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Required: A degree in finance or associated fields. 2-6 years of experience in finance, preferably in logistics.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interpreting analytic results to technical and non-technical audiences.
