Channel Sales Manager-Lab _ Baroda / Ahmedabad location
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and independently drive the channel business within the assigned region, ensuring achievement of organizational objectives.
- Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with channel partners to maximize sales, market penetration, and customer acquisition.
- Achieve assigned sales targets by providing strategic guidance and support to channel partners.
- Identify opportunities to expand market presence through existing channels and by onboarding new, high-potential channel partners.
- Design and execute regular product and service training programs for channel partners to enhance their technical capabilities and sales effectiveness.
- Monitor, review, and report on partner performance, sales pipeline, and customer engagement, providing accurate forecasts to senior management.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels with partners and keep management updated with the latest market trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align channel strategies with broader business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: MBA (preferably with a focus on Marketing, Sales, or Business Management) plus B.Sc./MSc/B.Tech/B.Eng., preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Instrumentation.
- Experience: Minimum 7 to 8 years of overall sales experience, including at least 2 years in analytical instrument sales (QC/QA).
- Proven experience in channel management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in selling laboratory instruments such as Analytical Balances, Titrators, pH Meters, Density Meters, or related equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
