Role Value Proposition:

This role supports the Global Chief Actuary's Chief of Staff and contributes to key financial processes for the Actuarial Department, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, close activities and transfer pricing. The position provides broad exposure to global financial management, senior leadership reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in coordinating all aspects of the annual budget submission for Global Actuarial and create a rollforward that explains changes between submissions.

- Assist in creating management reporting of monthly financial results, headcount, by leader and/or function in a timely and accurate manner, globally.

- Research and explain variances on key expense accounts.

- Prepare account analysis for key expenses, research unplanned charges, propose reclasses as appropriate, monthly.

- Help to create projections of expenses and coordinate monthly forecast updates for expenses and headcount.

- Calculates the transfer pricing invoice from the US to Countries as required and responds to country inquiries for variances.

- Coordinates the collection of accruals and supporting documentation for submission to CSA Finance.

- Coordinates the submission of new consulting requests in ZIP. and responds to questions about invoices and payments.

- Perform ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting and special projects as needed.

Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirements:

Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance / Accounting

Experience (In Years): 6 to 8 years of experience in FP&A, Finance / Accounting

Technical Skills:

- Functional knowledge of the General Ledger and understanding of GAAP accounting practices and procedures are preferred.

- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication and analytical skills and proficiency with advanced features of Excel

- Strong knowledge of Excel, Global Expense Management (GEM), Oracle, CoPilot, Power BI or Alteryx.
