Opportunity with Metlife (Noida) - Actuarial role We have opportunity in our Actuarial team. Job location- Noida Position Summary :&nbsp; - This role performs a variety of financial studies to analyze and report interrelationships of financial information, determines validity of data and provides supporting explanations of conclusions reached, and utilizes data to project future short and long term scenarios and anticipated results. This role also provides additional support for new reinsurance activity and existing reinsurance agreements, and assists with managing reinsurance/captive projects.&nbsp; - The role involves reinsurance treaties (both external and internal reinsurance), financial analysis, analyzing impact of reinsurance on capital requirements, and interacting with various stakeholders (such as reinsurance administration, product development &amp; pricing, valuation, capital management, and finance teams). Job Responsibilities: - Perform complex financial analyses - Prepare consolidated captive financial projections based on projections of underlying business reinsured - Interpret financial trends - Support financial management / capital management as a key internal consulting resource - Assist with managing reinsurance/captive related projects, such as coordinating responses to captive audits and confirming key owners of captive portfolios and corresponding investment management - Work on reinsurance projects based on business priorities as and when required - The projects / activities for this role may include aspects such as: - Assist with review of reinsurance treaties - external and internal reinsurance, including for international business, for both existing and potential new arrangements - Financial analysis pertaining to reinsurance for existing and proposed arrangements - Analyzing impact of reinsurance on capital requirements, to assist with managing inforce arrangements, managing captives and analyzing proposed arrangements - Assist with managing projects to assist with captive management in general and in response to specific needs, such as coordinating responses to captive audits - Interaction with and query resolution for stakeholders such as Reinsurance Administration, Product Development and Pricing, Legal, Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Accounting teams - Support reinsurer / internal / external / regulatory audits and issues as needed - Support the Transformation plans for reinsurance - Support reinsurance contract negotiations as and when required Urvashi Dwivedi
