Job Overview:
- The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of capital goods, specifically CNC Plasma and Laser cutting machines, across the assigned territory. The role requires strong technical understanding, customer management, and strategic sales capabilities, along with the ability to collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of cutting machines (CNC Plasma / Laser) in the assigned region.
- Expand market penetration by identifying and developing new customers.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and seminars for prospects.
- Maintain accurate customer data, sales reports, and competitive analysis charts.
- Coordinate closely with the Regional Sales Manager for sales planning and performance updates.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective engagement and timely support.
- Continuously enhance technical product knowledge and sales skills.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong sales experience in capital goods within the assigned region.
- Preferable knowledge of CNC Plasma and Laser Cutting Machines.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand machine features and applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and local regional language.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
- Proven relationship-building capability with industrial buyers.
