Sales Head (Marketing Focused) - Fast Growing D2C Brand
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Head who will primarily lead our marketing initiatives (70%) while driving sales and business growth (30%).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset-based sales, digital marketing, and product marketing - capable of building and executing end-to-end marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
This is a cross-functional leadership role that combines creativity, analytical thinking, and execution - ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, sales, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing (70%)
- Lead and execute the overall marketing strategy for the brand, aligning it with business goals.
- Drive digital transformation and oversee the digitization of the platform (including website design, automation, and customer engagement tools).
- Manage the website design, content, and performance optimization to ensure an engaging digital presence.
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns, including push notifications, email marketing, and targeted performance marketing.
- Spearhead product marketing initiatives - defining positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new offerings.
- Conceptualize and manage brand collaborations, influencer partnerships, and event tie-ups to enhance visibility and brand recall.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics, generate insights, and optimize strategies for ROI-driven outcomes.
Sales (30%)
- Drive asset-based sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, tech) to align sales and marketing objectives.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations that expand market reach.
- Manage key client relationships and oversee the development of proposals and pitches.
- Support the sales team with marketing assets, communication materials, and product knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably in SaaS, product-based, or consumer retail (gifting division) sectors.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, website management, and brand-building.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and performance analytics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
