Merlin Brands - Assistant Manager - Growth D2C - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

About the Role:

At Merlin Brands, we're building the next generation of consumer brands with Rabitat and Headway. As we continue to scale our D2C business, we're looking for an ambitious Assistant Manager Growth who is passionate about driving online revenue through performance marketing, customer acquisition, retention, and data-led experimentation.

What You'll Do:

- Drive D2C growth across Traffic, Conversion Rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, and LTV.

- Plan and execute customer acquisition strategies across Meta, Google, Affiliates, and other digital channels.

- Optimize marketing spends to maximize growth and profitability.

- Website conversion optimization initiatives, including landing pages, checkout journeys, offers, and A/B testing.

- Build and scale retention programs across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, Loyalty, and CRM.

- Analyze customer behavior, marketing performance, and growth metrics to identify new opportunities.

- Partner with Product, Tech, Design, and Content teams to improve the end-to-end customer journey.

What We're Looking For:

- 3 - 6 years of experience in Growth, Performance Marketing, or D2C Business.

- Mandatory: Experience with a D2C consumer brand.

- Strong understanding of digital acquisition, conversion optimization, retention, and growth analytics.

- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, CRM tools, and marketing dashboards.

- Highly analytical with an experimentation-first mindset and strong business acumen.

- Excellent stakeholder management and execution skills.

Preferred Profile:

- MBA/PGDM or equivalent from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute (IIMs, XLRI, MDI, SPJIMR, IIM Mumbai, NMIMS, Symbiosis, IMT, TAPMI, etc.).

- Experience in a high-growth startup or consumer internet/D2C environment.

- Proven track record of driving measurable business growth.
