Service Delivery Manager Job Title: 'Service Delivery Manager Monitoring Platforms' Location: Electronic City, Bangalore, India (Hybrid) Your role: - In the role of a Service Delivery Manager Monitoring Platforms, you are part of our global Infrastructure Monitoring Platforms Team - You are primarily responsible for the administration and support of our Monitoring service, which is based on SCOM and ICINGA Technology as well as on Netcool/Omnibus Technology for the Monitoring Event Management. In addition, you are involved in other Monitoring technologies and curious to learn them. - In this role you are responsible for the support- and request chain and continuously work to improve the IT Monitoring service. You collaborate closely with our internal customers, manage incidents, requests, changes, and Service Outages. In addition, you ensure, that the service meets the agreed SLA Level, and an appropriate reporting is available. Here you collaborate closely with the assigned Service Owner. Furthermore, you manage Audit cases professionally. Who you are: - You have a Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering etc. - Proven 7+ years track in working in Information Technology - Strong interest on latest Monitoring Technologies & Trends, SCOM / ICINGA and/or Netcool/Omnibus Know How is a Plus. - Keep up with the emerging technologies and develop new technical skills as needed by applications. - Good knowledge about IT Service management and associated frameworks (e.g., ITIL) - Interested to support the Monitoring Service, establish, and further expand Monitoring Automation and drive Monitoring Engineering. Manage system enhancements/releases. - Able to manage Configurations, Incidents & Changes and experienced in driving the Deployment of new releases & products - Experienced in managing internal and external compliance audit requests related to monitoring. - Solid understanding of IT processes and very good conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Put together work plans, track project work. Develop Standard Operating Procedures to standardize tasks for consistency in operations. - Committed, reliable, solution-oriented and pragmatic. - Communicate status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team. - You have a "can do" attitude and welcome new challenges. You like working on multiple tasks in parallel and are ready to take on responsibility from day one - Excellent team player as well as communication skills. Fluency in English is a must, solid communication (verbal and written) skills and attention to detail. - Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills. - Foundational project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads. - Perform tasks with minimum direction, independently manage complex problems, guide others. - Must be detailed oriented and able to work in a matrixed team setting and remain flexible to work with others in different time zones. - Interpersonal skills and development of relationships with team members, peers, leaders. Must have the ability to work with cross-functional matrixed teams to deliver on a common goal.
