Description:


Key Responsibilities


Product Catalog & Digital Merchandising


- Develop visually appealing product collections and promotional displays that align with current trends & seasons


- Manage end-to-end product listings with accurate information, high-quality images, and competitive pricing


- Build and maintain curated collections (trending picks, seasonal offerings, deal zones) that drive engagement


- Optimize product categorization and taxonomy for enhanced discoverability


Performance-Driven Optimization


- Analyze merchandising performance using key metrics: conversion rate, click-through rate (CTR), and sales velocity


- Execute A/B tests on product placements, page layouts, and promotional banners


- Use data analytics to optimize product positioning and category performance


Campaign & Promotional Management


- Collaborate with category and marketing teams to structure compelling offers and promotions


- Plan and execute seasonal campaigns aligned with inventory and business objectives


- Coordinate promotional content across digital touchpoints (app banners, push notifications, email)


Cross-Functional Collaboration


- Work closely with design and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging


- Partner with inventory teams for optimal stock planning and availability


- Sync merchandising strategies with performance marketing campaigns


SEO & Market Intelligence


- Implement SEO best practices for product titles, descriptions, and metadata


- Monitor competitor pricing, assortment strategies, and market positioning


- Track industry trends and consumer behavior insights to inform merchandising decisions


What We're Looking For


Experience & Background


- 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, catalog management, or growth roles


- Prior experience at leading e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra) or quick commerce (Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy) preferred


Technical Skills


- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting


- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento) and analytics tools (Google Analytics)


- Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization


Key Competencies


- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights


- Creative problem-solver who can spot trends and translate them into compelling product stories


- Execution-focused with a hustler mentality and ability to work in fast-paced startup environments


- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams


Nice to Have


- Experience with PIM systems and digital asset management


- Knowledge of conversion optimization and user experience principles


- Understanding of Indian e-commerce market dynamics and consumer behaviour
