About the Role:

- The Senior Manager will lead strategic consulting engagements across regulatory, commercial, and policy domains for clients in the power and utilities sector.

- The position involves overseeing multi-stakeholder programs, guiding teams, managing regulatory representations, and driving high-impact advisory solutions that influence client strategies and regulatory positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead large-scale regulatory and commercial advisory engagements for utilities, regulators, and investors.

- Review and approve ARR/MYT filings, tariff true-ups, and regulatory petitions prepared by teams.

- Advise clients on regulatory strategy, policy advocacy, tariff optimization, and energy transition frameworks.

- Interface with senior government officials, commissions, and industry leaders on regulatory matters.

- Mentor and oversee multiple project teams, ensuring excellence in delivery and client satisfaction.

- Spearhead business development through thought leadership, proposal development, and client acquisition.

- Conduct strategic reviews of market reforms, renewable integration policies, and distribution reforms (RDSS, UDAY, etc.

- Represent the firm in national-level seminars, consultations, and policy working groups.

- Drive internal capability building, training, and knowledge dissemination across teams.

Required Skills:

- Proven leadership in regulatory and commercial consulting for the power and energy industry.

- Expertise in tariff regulation, policy interpretation, revenue modeling, and compliance strategy.

- Strong command over CERC/SERC regulatory frameworks, Electricity Act, and Tariff Policies.

- Exceptional stakeholder management and public representation skills.

- Advanced communication, negotiation, and report-writing proficiency.

- Strategic thinking with ability to deliver high-impact advisory outcomes.

Education and Experience:

- Postgraduate in Engineering, Energy, Economics, or Business Administration.

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in regulatory and policy advisory leadership roles.

- Proven track record in handling multiple regulatory filings, policy consultations, and client advisory programs
