Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Private Credit Professional to join our growing private credit team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in emerging markets, private debt/credit, or investment banking, with an ability to analyze and structure private credit transactions. This role is based in Mumbai but supports our Private Murabaha Fund, a Saudi-based investment vehicle, and will involve collaboration with Saudi-based investment professionals and exposure to cross-border financing transactions within the GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Credit & Financial Analysis: Lead in-depth financial modeling, credit underwriting, and cash flow assessments for investment opportunities.

- Due Diligence: Conduct company, industry, and market due diligence to assess credit risk factors.

- Investment Reports: Prepare investment memos, risk analysis reports, and credit recommendations for internal committees.

- Portfolio Monitoring: Track borrower performance, financial covenants, and risk indicators, ensuring proactive risk management.

- Regulatory Compliance: Support deal structuring within CMA (Saudi Capital Market Authority) and Shariah finance frameworks.

- Market Research: Analyze emerging markets, corporate debt, and private credit trends, with a focus on GCC market characteristics.

- Collaboration & Deal Execution: Work with Saudi-based investment teams on structuring and executing transactions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Certifications are a plus (e.g. CFA).

- 5-9 years of experience in private credit, structured lending, investment banking (leveraged finance preferred), or credit risk analysis.

- Advanced financial modeling, credit structuring, and risk analysis.

- Experience in analyzing mid-market or SME lending and structuring credit transactions.

- Ability to work remotely and collaborate with international teams while managing multiple priorities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Exposure to cross-border transactions, emerging markets, or global private credit strategies is a plus.

- MENA/GCC/KSA transaction experience is a plus.
