
Head of Venue Partnerships:
Department: Destination Weddings
Level: Head/Senior Leader
Role Overview:
Lead Meragi's venue partnership strategy across destination weddings locations. Build and scale partnerships with premium hotels, resorts, and venues Pan-India and internationally. Own the customer consultation journey, team leadership, and P&L for the venues business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own Venue Partnerships (Pan-India & International)
- Identify, onboard, and manage premium hotel/resort/venue partnerships across India and internationally
- Develop partnership frameworks, commercial terms, and SLAs
- Build tiered portfolio (luxury, mid-premium, boutique categories)
- Manage contract negotiations and performance reviews
- Own Venue Consultation Journey
- Define and optimize end-to-end customer venue consultation experience
- Manage content quality, discovery workflows, and booking processes
- Monitor NPS/CSAT and implement improvements
- Ensure seamless coordination between customer acquisition and venue partners
- Lead & Build Teams
- Build and mentor Venue Consultants and Venue Partnership Managers
- Establish KPIs, training frameworks, and performance management
- Scale from 3-5 to 10-15+ team members
- Foster accountability and continuous improvement culture
- Own P&L & Customer Experience
- Drive revenue targets (commissions, subscriptions, co-marketing)
- Manage costs, profitability, and margins
- Analyze unit economics (CAC, LTV, retention)
- Own customer experience metrics and satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, BBA, Hotel Management preferred)
- MBA from Tier 1/2 institution preferred
- 6+ years post-UG experience OR 3+ years post-MBA experience
Experience:
- Team leadership (minimum 2-3 direct reports)
- B2B partnership management at scale (good to have)
- Offline partnerships with venues/hotels (Good to Have)
- P&L ownership or budget management
