About the Team: Grocery has the biggest share of the overall retail spend in India and is projected to be an $800B market in 2024-25, of which the majority contribution comes from non-Metro cities. The grocery market in Metro has become crowded with a lot of players trying to solve the supply chain but the higher cost of logistics restricts these players to disrupt the lower-tier cities. At Superstore, we are building the most cost-effective distribution channel to disrupt the grocery market in lower-tier (non-Metro) cities of India which is currently dominated by offline players. We are on the journey of creating a hyperlocal marketplace for groceries and solving the intermediate inefficiencies in the distribution system. Superstore is an early-stage mini start-up within Meesho with a completely different supply chain and modus operandi. About the Role: - As an Assistant Manager SCM, you will work directly with the functional leaders and take ownership of all business-critical problems from user fulfillment & experience perspective. You will work to set up along with custodian of Supply planning and performance improvement.Your focus will be to create and improve the operating systems of the org. - As part of the team that is launching the Supply Chain Planning & Control tower Team for Grocery business unit, this is a tremendous opportunity to work on super interesting 0-1 problems and then scale them 10X. What you will do: - Design programs to improve experience metrics, driving improvement in NPS or relevant operational metrics. - Own a key part of user experience for one or more of marketplace participants - our entrepreneurs, their customers, or our suppliers. - Participate in building strategy & supply planning along with some design nuance as an advocate for better user experience from the vantage point the programs you own. - Influence product development choices using data and insights which originate from in-depth knowledge of your program. - Drive program adherence with operations teams and continuously solve edge cases with suboptimal outcomes due to current processes. - The role requires strong generalist problem solving skills and offers mobility across different business verticals within the organization.
