Job Description:

MedPlus, one of India's largest and fastest-growing pharmacy retail chains with 4230+ stores across 600+ cities, is expanding its franchise network aggressively. We are looking for an experienced Retail Business Development professional to drive franchise expansion in Vizag and surrounding markets.

The role involves identifying, onboarding, and managing franchise partners while building long-term relationships with local retail business owners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and onboard potential pharmacy franchise partners

- Drive conversion of existing retail/pharmacy stores to the MedPlus franchise model

- Present business proposals, conduct feasibility analysis, and close agreements

- Coordinate with internal teams for seamless franchise setup and launch

- Ensure compliance with MedPlus operational and brand standards

- Achieve regional franchise growth targets

Mandatory Requirements:

- 4-7 years of experience, preferably from Retail industry (Retail Sales / Operations / Business Development)

- Telugu speaking is mandatory

- MBA/PGDM from IIMs / ISB / FMS or equivalent premier institutes mandatory

- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
