
Job Role: Medical Superintendent

Job Location: Rajkot, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Doctor Recruitment and Engagement:
- Identify and recruit qualified medical professionals to meet the hospital's needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical staff to foster a positive work environment.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with doctors and other healthcare providers.
- Manage the credentialing and privileging process for all medical staff.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including NABH, NABL, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to monitor and improve quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential compliance issues.
Clinical Committee Meetings:
- Chair and participate in clinical committee meetings, ensuring effective decision-making and implementation of strategies.
- Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols.
Hospital and Healthcare Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of hospital-wide policies and procedures.
- Manage the budget and financial resources of the hospital.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Infection Prevention Controls:
- Implement and monitor infection prevention and control practices to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
- Conduct regular training and education sessions for staff on infection control protocols.
Clinical Audits:
- Conduct regular clinical audits to assess the quality of patient care and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Patient Services Feedbacks and Improvement:
- Monitor and analyze patient feedback to identify areas for improvement in patient services.
- Implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
Standard Operating Procedures:
- Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to the established SOPs
Job Competencies:
Qualifications and Skills:
Desired Candidate:
- MBBS degree is most preferred.
- MHA degree is preferred.
- 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in hospital administration and clinical operations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
