Medical Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to lead clinical operations at our reputed hospital in Pune. The ideal candidate will be a qualified MBBS doctor with proven expertise in clinical administration and hospital leadership. Prior exposure to the healthcare landscape in Maharashtra will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide clinical leadership and administrative oversight across all departments.

- Ensure quality care delivery, clinical governance, and patient safety standards.

- Collaborate with department heads and medical staff to maintain NABH/NABL standards.

- Drive implementation of clinical protocols, SOPs, and best practices.

- Facilitate recruitment, evaluation, and development of medical staff.

- Monitor medical outcomes and spearhead continuous quality improvement initiatives.

- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure statutory and ethical compliance.

- Act as a bridge between the medical team and hospital management to align goals.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution (Postgraduate degree is a plus).

- Minimum 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a clinical leadership/administrative role.

- Strong knowledge of hospital operations, medico-legal frameworks, and clinical audits.

- Familiarity with healthcare protocols, accreditation, and quality benchmarks.

- Prior work experience in hospitals within Maharashtra preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and team leadership skills.

- Age not exceeding 50 years.
