About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Media Buying professional (up to DGM level) to lead the end-to-end development and execution of integrated media strategies that enhance our brands visibility, equity, and performance across multiple channels.
This leadership role plays a pivotal part in ensuring optimal media investments, by leveraging both online and offline platforms including Digital, TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, and Activation to maximize reach, brand impact, and ROI.
The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, a persuasive negotiator, and a collaborative leader capable of driving measurable outcomes through data-driven media planning and execution.

The incumbent will translate brand and business objectives into actionable media plans that ensure we reach the right audience, through the right channel, at the right cost.
This role is central to the organizations growth and positioning strategy, directly impacting customer engagement, sales, and long-term brand value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement 360 integrated media strategies across both online and offline channels, ensuring synergy between brand goals and media performance.
- Lead end-to-end media planning and buying, covering Digital, TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor (OOH), and Activation media.
- Build and manage relationships with media agencies, vendors, and digital partners to secure competitive rates and deliver optimized campaigns.
- Drive data-based media decisions, leveraging insights from analytics platforms, DSPs, and campaign attribution tools to enhance performance and ROI.
- Oversee media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation, spend optimization, and cost transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand, Creative, Sales, and Finance to align media plans with business goals.
- Evaluate media performance and impact, producing reports and insights that guide future strategy.
- Negotiate contracts and deals to maximize value and ensure compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
- Lead agency reviews, performance evaluations, and renewal decisions, ensuring best-in-class delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior media and marketing team members, fostering analytical and negotiation excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8-15 years of progressive experience in media buying and planning, with exposure to both digital and traditional media.
- Strong background in FMCG, consumer goods, or large-scale brand-driven industries.
- Proven success in negotiating, optimizing, and managing multimillion-rupee media budgets.
- Experience in both agency and in-house environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of media planning tools, DSPs, ad exchanges, and analytics platforms (e., DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Nielsen, Comscore).
- Exceptional vendor and agency management skills with a proven ability to build long-term partnerships.
- Proficiency in analyzing media performance metrics such as ROI, ROAS, reach, and engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
Reporting Relationship:
- Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
- Collaborates with: Brand, Product, Digital, Finance, and Regional Marketing Teams
- External Interfaces: Media Agencies, Publishers, Broadcasters, and Digital Platforms
