ABOUT FINANCE TEAM @ MECH MOCHA You will be responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of day to day accounting, monthly book closure along with statutory compliances. LARGER PURPOSE AND IMPACT You will get to build the team from the ground up. Being the first addition to this you will be at the center-stage of all finance and accounting function and will work directly with the Financial Controller. Primary responsibilities include: - Completeness of accounting records - Implementing policies and procedures - Manage accounts payable with vendor management while ensuring invoices and employee reimbursement are processed in timely manner - Ledger scrutiny - Liaising with bankers, auditors, creditors, customers and various team within the organisation - Monthly and quarterly book closure - Preparation of monthly management report - Statutory compliances like GST, TDS, PF, ESI and PT Take away from the role: - Exposure to preparation of management report - Exposure to planning and forecasting - Exposure to corporate governance and legal compliances WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR: - A qualified CA with minimum 1 year experience in accounting role in a startup or CA firm - Strong accounting concepts. - Extensive knowledge of accounting processes within an organisation. - Organized, methodological, disciplined document management skills. - An eye for detail with excellent MS written and oral communication skills. - Extensive and up-to-date knowledge changes in statutory laws. - Familiarity with Tally, Quickbooks or similar accounting software. - Familiarity with MS office tools mainly MS Excel.
