JD - Logistics Lead (pladis India Pvt Ltd)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Operations Management:

- Manage secondary logistics operations from order to delivery with POD for all channels (TT/MT/ECom/CPC/EC/CSD)

- Oversee secondary transportation, 3PL warehousing, and inventory management

- Closure of monthly CFA inventory and reconciliation of open items

- Ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting

- Inventory Management - SLOB / Damage & Expiry , IBT Control

- Secondary RPT / Distribution freight and service management

- Regular visit to 3PL/CFA for betterment and documentation and compliance

2. Process Improvement:

- Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs

- Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement at 3PL/CFA and supplier levels

3. Team Leadership:

- Lead a team of 13 CFA/3PL/logistics professionals and provide guidance and support

- Foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment with cross-functional teams (HO, Plant, CFA, Transporter FTL/PTL)

4. Vendor Management:

- Develop and manage relationships with logistics vendors (CFA, 3PL, Transporter)

- Conduct vendor development and performance management

- Performance evaluation

5. Compliance and Regulatory:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies at 3PL/CFA/Transporter levels (E-way bill, FSSAI, GST, etc.)

- Coordinate and close internal and statutory audits of CFA

6. Financial Management:

- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and budgeting for CFA spends

- Process CFA claims and ensure timely payment

- Negotiate CFA agreements and contracts

7. Systems and Technology:

- Experience with logistics software and systems (MS Office, SAP, TMS, WMS, Dashboard)

- Drive process digitization and automation initiatives

8. Performance Management:

- Develop and measure KPIs for internal team , suppliers, CFA, and distribution/TPT partners

- Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement

9. Crisis Management:

- Handle pressure during month-end and crisis and festive situations

- Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure business continuity
