Your Impact
- As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the commercial shaping and executing of complex pricing/ commercial arrangements for the firm.
- You will partner closely with consulting teams and senior leadership to structure, negotiate, and finalize non-standard fee arrangements and performance-based fees with clients across geographies and industries. Acting as a trusted peer to the Client Service Teams (CST) group, the role requires strong commercial judgment, advanced negotiation skills, and the ability to independently engage with C-suite executives.
- Your work will help ensure that our commercial strategies align with client needs while balancing firm risk and long term value creation. You will advise CSTs / Consulting teams during the proposal stage on structuring and negotiating non-standard and complex fee arrangements, ensuring early and proactive involvement.
- You will support and help manage day-to-day commercial negotiations with local and multinational clients, including multi-year and multi geography engagements. You will partner with CSTs and senior stakeholders to prepare for and participate in client negotiations, contributing to discussions with senior client executives (e.g., CEOs, CFOs).
- You will professionalize contracting arrangements by tightening commercial language and conditions in alignment with firm policies and risk standards.
- You will ensure commercial structures appropriately balance client needs, firm risk, and long-term value creation. You will guide consulting teams through firm governance and approval processes (e.g., Local or Regional Pricing Committee), ensuring compliance and efficient decision-making.
- You will coach consulting teams on standard commercial terms, negotiation tactics, and best practices across a wide range of client situations.
- You will disseminate best practices related to negotiation strategies, methodologies, templates, and precedent agreements.
- You will support client service teams in resolving contentious commercial issues while adhering to Firm policies and escalation protocols.
- You will build strong, trusted relationships with Partners, client service teams, Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders. You will serve as a calm, credible advisor in high-pressure and time-sensitive negotiations.
- You will be based in Mumbai, Gurugram, or Bengaluru as part of our Global Commercial Team, contributing to high stakes negotiations and strategic decision-making.

Your Qualifications and Skills
- Professional degree required: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, and/or MBA
- 6-10 years of experience negotiating complex fee arrangements or commercial agreements, either on behalf of a service-providing organization, or in a purchasing, procurement, or deal-structuring role
- Experience in a multinational organization such as an IT/ Management consulting services or professional services firm
- Strong business acumen for global deals, including pricing, commercial structures, and an understanding of how consulting engagements operate
- Demonstrated sound judgment, clarity of thought, and strong analytical reasoning
- Knowledge of global macroeconomic concepts and their impact on commercial decision-making
- Proven leadership and stakeholder-management skills across both internal and external relationships, ability to operate credibly with senior executive levels
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, consensus-building style
