Job Description:

Reporting to the MaxVal Chief Revenue Officer, the Sales Operations Manager (SOM) will be part of a dynamic team that is selling the worlds premier Intellectual Property products and services.


The SOM will manage sales-related operational, financial and measurement programs including revenue planning, commission support, territory management, sales force automation tools as well as interface with other organizations including Finance, Marketing and Executive Committee.


The SOM will be responsible for developing and driving sales operational programs in order to assist Sales, Financial and Executive management in understanding and increasing the overall effectiveness of the sales team.

Ideal candidates will be quantitatively oriented with an overall business acumen and previous sales operations experience.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Sales booking reporting, tracking and analysis.

- Ongoing maintenance and development of sales territories.

- Ongoing support of sales commission plans (in conjunction with finance).

- Development and reporting of key sales reports and ongoing metrics.

- Ownership and maintenance of sales force automation tools and reporting (SugarOnDemand.com).

- Ongoing interaction with Marketing, especially with regard to Lead Generation and Marketing Metric reporting.

- Management of sales efficiency tools and communications.

- Professional interaction with the sales, marketing and leadership teams

Experience:

- A minimum of 3+ year(s) sales operations experience.

- A proven track record of achievement with previous employers.

- Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, segmentation, research, lifetime value, ROI.

- Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and report modeling applications (Tableau, etc.).

- Knowledge of SFA systems a plus (especially SugarOnDemand.com).

- Excellent report development and presentation skills.

Character:

Location:

- India or the USA.

- If India, ability and willingness to work a minimum of 4 USA (PT) hours a day.
