Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-potential Business Manager Hospital Operations to support leadership in driving operational excellence, performance analytics, and cross-functional coordination across hospital units. This is a business-facing operations role, ideal for candidates with a clinical foundation (BDS) combined with management expertise (MHA/MBA).

The role goes beyond routine administration and focuses on hospital performance, process optimisation, stakeholder coordination, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Hospital Operations & Performance Management:

- Drive day-to-day hospital operations efficiency, patient flow optimisation, and service delivery excellence.

- Monitor key operational KPIs such as OPD/IPD volumes, surgery utilisation, doctor productivity, and service quality metrics.

- Support leadership in identifying operational gaps and implementing corrective actions.

Business & Data Analytics

- Track, analyse, and present MIS reports, dashboards, and performance summaries to senior management.

- Ensure data accuracy related to operations, revenue indicators, utilisation metrics, and compliance.

- Use insights to recommend process improvements and cost optimisation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Act as a central coordination point between clinical teams, operations, finance, HR, and management.

- Support execution of new initiatives, centre-level projects, and operational rollouts.

- Follow up on action items from review meetings and leadership discussions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Support:

- Work closely with senior leadership on operational planning and execution.

- Assist in hospital audits, reviews, and internal governance processes.

- Ensure SOP adherence and continuous improvement across hospital functions.

Candidate Profile:

Education (Mandatory)

- BDS + MHA / MBA (Hospital / Healthcare Management)

Experience:

1 - 10 years of experience in:

- Hospital operations

- Healthcare administration

- Clinical operations / centre management

- Experience in eye hospitals or multi-specialty hospitals preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of hospital workflows and healthcare operations

- Excellent analytical and reporting skills (Excel, dashboards, MIS)

- Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and follow-up abilities

- Business-oriented mindset with clinical sensitivity

- Good communication skills (English mandatory; regional language preferred)
