Product Leader (Director Level)
Job Description:
Role Purpose:Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for MaxisAI's clinical AI platform. This role bridges clinical domain expertise, customer insight, and engineering execution to deliver a differentiated, enterprise-grade AI product for life sciences and clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:- Own end-to-end product strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap for the MaxisAI platform.
- Translate clinical trial, regulatory, and life sciences domain challenges into well-defined product opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned to customer value and business outcomes.
- Lead product discovery, including customer interviews, competitive analysis, and market research.
- Define and communicate product requirements through detailed PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with AI Engineering and Platform Engineering to guide architecture decisions and feature delivery.
- Drive product positioning, feature differentiation, and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
- Establish and track product KPIs including adoption, engagement, NPS, and revenue attribution.
- Ensure product compliance with relevant GxP, HIPAA, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements.
- Champion a customer-centric product culture through continuous feedback loops and usability practices.
- Engage directly with pharma, biotech, and CRO enterprise customers to shape product direction.
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through release, iteration, and deprecation.
Required Experience:- 10+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead product role.
- Domain experience in clinical trials, life sciences, health IT, or regulated SaaS environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of owning and shipping B2B enterprise software products.
- Strong command of Agile product practices: backlog management, sprint planning, roadmap communication.
- Experience working in or alongside AI/ML engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive, technical, and customer audiences.
Preferred Background:- Understanding of clinical data standards (CDISC, USDM, ICH M11).
- Exposure to GxP validation, 21 CFR Part 11, or regulated software environments.
- Experience with AI-powered products or agentic workflows.
- Prior experience at a healthtech, clinical tech, or pharma SaaS company.
Success Measures - First 12 Months:- Deliver a clearly articulated, customer-validated 12-month product roadmap within 60 days.
- Achieve at least 2 major feature releases per quarter by Month 6.
- Establish regular customer advisory and feedback mechanisms.
- Improve product NPS by 10+ points within 12 months.
- Align product strategy with Sales pipeline and contribute to at least 2 new enterprise wins.
