
Function Summary:
The Human Resources function at Axis Max Life Insurance is a key driver of business success, focused on attracting, developing, and retaining high-quality talent while promoting a high-performance culture. The team partners closely with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals and ensures seamless employee experience through effective processes, engagement, and compliance.
Job Summary:
The incumbent will manage the full employee lifecycle, drive HR initiatives, oversee engagement programs, and ensure effective recruitment and onboarding across assigned channels.
Role & responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment for frontline sales and supervisory roles
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future manpower needs
- Track hiring progress to meet annual manpower plans
- Drive Internal Job Postings (IJP) and ensure timely closure
- Promote sourcing through employee referrals and non-vendor channels
Onboarding:
- Ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires
- Facilitate timely employee code creation and infrastructure readiness - Coordinate HR and functional induction programs HRIS & Reporting
- Maintain HR MIS related to hiring, sourcing, attrition, and engagement
- Publish dashboards and share insights with business stakeholders
Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:
- Act as the HR point of contact for employee queries
- Ensure effective communication of policies and processes
- Address grievances proactively and manage escalations
Exit Management:
- Track employee exits and ensure timely system updates
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse attrition trends
Learning & Development (MDP):
- Manage MDP nominations and ensure adherence
- Coordinate logistics for new hire orientation programs
- Design Role based journeys along with MDP
- IDP Execution of Best Bets
Employee Engagement:
- Design and implement engagement initiatives based on survey insights (e.g., GPTW)
- Drive employee connect through formal and informal platforms via engagement calendar
- Execute customized engagement plans across channels
Performance Management System:
- Drive end to end Annual PMS for the assigned businesses
- Co-create Channel PMS along with business planning team
- Crete awareness on Career Path, Goal Sheet, Incentives
Preferred candidate profile:
Desired qualification and experience:
- Full-time MBA/ Postgraduate in HR from a premier (Tier 1) institute
- 10+ years of experience in Business HR
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
