As we scale aggressively, we are strengthening our pre-sales function to support enterprise expansion, improve deal quality, and accelerate sales velocity.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a senior Pre-Sales Lead who will act as a strategic partner to Sales, Product, and Implementation teams. This role goes beyond demos and support it focuses on solution consulting, disciplined qualification, value articulation, and enterprise-grade documentation.

You will play a critical role in shaping deal strategy, influencing win rates, and positioning VENDX as a high-value procurement automation platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Qualification & Discovery

- Lead discovery and qualification conversations with enterprise prospects using structured frameworks (BANT / ICP-based).

- Assess prospect fit based on industry, procurement complexity, ERP landscape, and organizational maturity.

- Partner with Sales to ensure only high-quality, well-qualified opportunities move forward.

- Document discovery insights, pain points, and solution alignment clearly for internal teams.

2. Solution Mapping & Demonstrations

- Design and deliver outcome-focused demos tailored to client context and stakeholder personas (CPO, CFO, CIO, Plant Heads).

- Map customer challenges to VENDX capabilities with a strong business-value narrative.

- Build industry-specific demo flows for manufacturing verticals.

- Support competitive positioning against platforms like SAP Ariba, Ivalua, GEP, etc.

3. Pre-Sales Documentation & Solution Design

- You will be responsible for creating high-quality, enterprise-ready documentation, including:

- Solution architecture and integration overviews

- Current-state vs future-state procurement process flows

- ERP integration specifications (SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.)

- ROI / business case documents

- Implementation roadmaps and rollout plans

- Security and compliance documentation (as required)

- All documentation must be professional, accurate, and aligned with product capabilities.

4. RFP / RFI & POC Support

- Own responses for RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires in collaboration with internal teams.

- Support Proof-of-Concept (POC) scoping, success criteria definition, and outcome documentation.

- Ensure timely and accurate submissions for enterprise prospects.

5. Sales Enablement & Knowledge Building

- Enable Sales team through structured discovery inputs, demo frameworks, and competitive insights.

- Contribute to pre-sales assets such as qualification frameworks, demo libraries, and ROI templates.

- Share market and client feedback with Product and Leadership teams.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Domain Knowledge:

- 8-12 years of experience in Pre-Sales / Solution Consulting for B2B SaaS or Enterprise Software.

- Strong understanding of procurement / Source-to-Pay workflows.

- Experience working with manufacturing enterprises (pharma, chemical, cement, FMCG preferred).

- Exposure to ERP ecosystems and SaaS integrations.

- Technical & Documentation Skills

- Proven ability to create clear, structured, high-quality technical documentation.

- Experience with solution architecture, process flows, integration specs, and ROI models.

- Strong executive communication skills with ability to engage C-level stakeholders.

- Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.

- Confident presenter with strong discovery and objection-handling skills.

PREFERRED (ADVANTAGE)

- Background in ERP implementation, consulting, or product management.

- Exposure to GenAI / AI-enabled SaaS platforms.

- Experience influencing product roadmap through market feedback.
