ROLE OVERVIEW

The position manages the company's accounting operations, financial planning and tax compliance - ensuring accurate reporting, strategic alignment, and team leadership. The role serves as a key advisor to senior management across financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance (GST, TDS), audits, cash flow, internal controls, and financial strategy for growth, cost optimization, and long-term stability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Financial Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and cost-reduction initiatives.

- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory & tax compliance.

- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of performance, profitability, and efficiency; assess financial impact of business decisions.

- Internal Controls: Design and strengthen financial policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.

- Accounting Operations: Supervise daily accounting, general ledger, payables/receivables, payroll, and timely financial statements.

- Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions.

- Relationship Management: Collaborate with departments, external auditors, financial institutions, and investors.

- Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support the executive team and board.

- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop the finance and accounting team.
