Matriosh - Investor Relations Specialist

Role Overview:

Position: Investor Relations Specialist

Remote | Commission-Based (3% of funds raised)

No fixed salary until fundraising is secured

You will lead investor outreach, manage relationships, and support our pre-seed fundraising efforts across ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive investor outreach & engagement

- Prepare investor materials

- Manage the full fundraising cycle

- Maintain investor pipeline

- Work with founders on capital strategy

Mandatory Requirements:

- 0-3 years in investor relations/venture fundraising

- Proven VC/angel fundraising experience

- Existing investor network

- Strong pitching & communication

- Comfortable with the commission-only model initially

Preferred:

- Experience with top-tier VCs (Sequoia, a16z, Accel, etc.)

- Early-stage startup experience

- SaaS/AI fundraising exposure

Compensation:

- 3% commission on funds raised

- No salary before pre-seed close

- Strong performance - salary-based role + rewards

- Potential future equity/leadership
