Description:
As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for quoting, planning, and scheduling repairs to meet customer specifications and deadlines. You will collaborate across multiple departmentsengineering, purchasing, sales, and operationsto ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed repair quotations for customer equipment
- Determine delivery timelines after checking inventory and resource availability
- Verify customer orders, including identity numbers, pricing, delivery schedules, shipping/billing addresses, and specifications
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on order status and expedite requests
- Request quotes from suppliers and initiate purchase orders
- Manage incoming and outgoing invoices and ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery dates, reconciliation, and information updates
- Support warehouse operations as needed (incoming goods, inspection, packaging, shipping)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Ability to plan material availability and capacities efficiently in complex scenarios
- Experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Adaptable, flexible, and demonstrates ownership
