Senior Manager - Sales (4-9 yrs)
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end admissions funnel while managing a team of counsellors to ensure high-quality engagement and conversions. This role requires strong ownership of team performance, process efficiency, and funnel metrics, from lead management to application and final conversion. You will play a critical role in optimizing outreach efforts, refining pitch quality, and ensuring consistent execution across all stages of the admissions journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management & Execution
- Manage and oversee a team of admissions counsellors, ensuring productivity, discipline, and adherence to team norms
- Track attendance, availability, and daily output metrics of the team
- Allocate and manage day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring smooth execution of tasks
- Ensure effective communication and information flow across the team
2. Funnel Management & Optimization
- Oversee the entire admissions funnel from lead allocation to final conversion
- Monitor key metrics such as:
- Leads assigned vs. calls made
- Calls vs. meaningful conversations
- Applications started vs. completed
- Conversions across each stage
- Identify drop-offs, leakage points, and reasons for non-conversion, and take corrective actions
3. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report team performance and funnel metrics on a regular basis
- Build structured reports on:
- Lead to application conversion
- Application to paid conversion
- Overall funnel efficiency
- Share actionable insights with leadership to improve outcomes
4. Pitch & Conversion Excellence
- Continuously refine the admissions pitch based on data and feedback
- Ensure the team is effectively communicating program value and handling objections
- Work closely with leadership to standardize and improve conversion strategies
- Monitor call quality and provide feedback to enhance performance
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve team capability and performance
- Identify skill gaps and implement targeted coaching interventions
- Ensure new team members are onboarded and trained effectively
6. Admissions Operations & Experience
- Oversee execution of key admission touchpoints such as campus tours and applicant interactions
- Ensure high-quality experience for prospective students throughout the journey
- Track and improve metrics around qualified leads and application quality Requirements
Education & Experience:
- 3-7 years of experience in admissions, sales, or team management roles
- Prior experience managing teams and handling conversion funnels is strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong team management and leadership skills
