The institution has also built one of the country's strongest student startup ecosystems, with 10+ students pitching on Shark Tank India and 20+ students raising external funding for their ventures, alongside several successful creators and internet entrepreneurs.

About the role:

We are looking for an HR Lead to drive people strategy, talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations across Masters' Union.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys building scalable people practices while partnering closely with leadership and business teams. The individual will play a key role in strengthening organizational culture, driving performance, and building high-performing teams across the institution.

Specifically, this role will involve:

- Partnering with leadership teams on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.

- Driving end-to-end HR operations including employee lifecycle management, onboarding, policy implementation, and HR governance.

- Managing talent acquisition and leadership hiring across functions and business verticals.

- Driving employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, and retention strategies.

- Leading performance management processes including goal setting, review cycles, feedback mechanisms, and capability development initiatives.

- Building and implementing HR policies, processes, and people frameworks aligned with organizational growth.

- Supporting learning & development, leadership development, and career progression initiatives.

- Driving HR analytics, dashboards, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

- Acting as a strategic HR partner for managers and business stakeholders across teams.

- Managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational communication where required.

Ideal candidate will have:

- 8-12 years of experience across HRBP, Talent Management, HR Operations, or People Strategy roles.

- Strong understanding of performance management systems, employee engagement, and organizational development practices.

- Experience working in startups, edtech, consulting, or high-growth organizations preferred.

- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.

- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and execution skills.

- Experience in scaling teams, driving culture initiatives, and building HR processes from the ground up will be preferred.

- MBA / Master's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
