About the Role:

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role on our core Strategy team designed for someone who has spent time in a consulting room translating big ideas into structured thinking, and in a startup actually executing them. If both halves of that sentence describe you, read on.

You will work directly with senior leadership to identify whitespace opportunities, launch new verticals, and drive innovation across the institution. From conceptualisation to scale, this role owns the full journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Opportunity scouting:

- Identify and size new opportunities across education, technology, and industry collaborations aligned with Masters' Union's long-term vision.

- Track market trends, competitor moves, and emerging models to surface high-potential ideas ahead of the curve.

Initiative launch & execution:

- Lead end-to-end execution of new initiatives market research, business case development, piloting, operations, and scale.

- Translate strategic ambition into operational plans with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics.

- Own the outcome accountability for initiatives in your portfolio.

Cross-functional leadership:

- Collaborate with marketing, academics, admissions, and tech teams to bring initiatives to life.

- Drive alignment across stakeholders and manage competing priorities without losing momentum.

Strategic partnerships:

- Forge high-value partnerships with companies, universities, and startups to power new programmes and products.

- Structure and negotiate partnership terms; manage ongoing relationships for long-term value.

Innovation culture:

- Drive a culture of experimentation, rapid iteration, and evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.

- Champion new ideas internally and build the institutional muscle to move from concept to pilot quickly.

What you bring:

- MBA from a reputed institution preferred, but the right track record matters more than the degree.

- 610 years across strategy, entrepreneurship, or management consulting ideally a mix of both.

- Proven experience building something from scratch: a startup, a new business unit, or a consulting-led transformation.

- Strong strategic thinking, financial modelling, and structured problem-solving skills.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management equally comfortable presenting to a CEO and running a working session with operations.

- Bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a genuine love for high-growth, fast-changing environments.
