
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Visa Head (Mobility Head) to lead our global visa and immigration function. This role will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing end-to-end mobility and immigration processes for employees traveling or relocating across geographies. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in global immigration regulations, vendor management, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization's global visa and immigration operations, ensuring timely and compliant processing across multiple countries.
- Develop and implement mobility strategies that align with business expansion and workforce deployment plans.
- Oversee end-to-end visa lifecycle management, including work permits, business visas, dependent visas, renewals, and compliance documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with immigration consultants, legal partners, embassies, consulates, and government authorities.
- Ensure adherence to local and international immigration laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Monitor changes in global immigration policies and proactively assess their impact on business operations.
- Establish standardized processes, SLAs, and governance frameworks to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
- Manage mobility budgets, vendor contracts, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Business Leaders to support workforce mobility needs.
- Lead and mentor the visa and mobility team, driving capability development, operational excellence, and high service standards.
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports to monitor visa volumes, turnaround times, compliance metrics, vendor performance, and business insights.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance mobility operations and employee experience.
- Handle complex immigration cases, escalations, audits, and risk mitigation activities.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- 10-15+ years of experience in global mobility, visa, immigration, or international HR operations.
- Proven experience managing high-volume global visa operations across multiple geographies.
- Strong understanding of immigration regulations, work authorization processes, and international mobility compliance.
- Experience managing external immigration vendors, legal partners, and government stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience with HRIS, mobility management platforms, and reporting tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
