Role Overview:
The Manager Partnerships will develop, manage, and scale strategic relationships with corporates, industry bodies, and ecosystem partners that enhance learning outcomes, drive placements & internships, and support Masters Unions broader institutional goals.
This is a high-impact, externally facing role requiring strong business development capabilities, relationship management, and an understanding of the education + employment landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate & Industry Partnerships
- Identify, pitch, and onboard new corporate partners across consulting, finance, technology, consumer, Web3, and high-growth sectors.
- Maintain long-term relationships with CXOs, HR heads, and business leaders to drive recurring engagement.
- Develop partnership models such as sponsored projects, capstones, live business challenges, masterclasses, and experiential programs.
2. Placement & Internship Collaboration
- Work with employers to create pipelines for internships, pre-placement offers (PPOs), and full-time recruitment.
- Communicate employer needs to internal placement teams and ensure alignment with student capabilities.
- Facilitate recruitment days, career fairs, and on-campus corporate immersion events.
3. Program & Curriculum Support
- Co-create modules, workshops, and practitioner-led sessions with industry experts.
- Identify top practitioners to serve as visiting faculty, mentors, and project advisors.
- Ensure partnerships enhance the real-world rigor and industry relevance of MUs programs.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with academic teams, marketing, admissions, and student experience teams to drive multi-departmental initiatives.
- Manage communication, documentation, MoUs, and performance metrics for all partnerships.
- Provide periodic reports and dashboards on partnership outcomes and pipeline growth.
5. Ecosystem & Thought Leadership
- Build relationships with industry associations (NASSCOM, FICCI, TiE, etc.).
- Secure participation in conferences, roundtables, and community platforms that elevate Masters Unions visibility.
- Identify collaboration opportunities with startups, accelerators, VCs, and innovation hubs.
