About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead / Head - Admissions to lead and scale our student recruitment efforts. In this role, you'll drive the admissions strategy for all Masters' Union programs, optimize the admissions process, and ensure a seamless journey for prospective students. You'll also oversee the P&L of the admissions function, ensuring that both revenue and cost management goals are met. This position demands a strong leadership presence, deep understanding of sales strategies in education, and the ability to manage financials effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Admissions Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to drive enrollment growth across all Masters' Union programs.
P&L Leadership: Take full ownership of the admissions function's P&L, ensuring that revenue targets are met and costs are effectively managed for maximum profitability.
Lead the Admissions Team: Mentor and lead the admissions team to achieve and exceed enrollment targets. Provide coaching, training, and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity and success.
Sales and Lead Generation: Identify new lead sources, manage lead generation efforts, and convert prospects through a consultative sales approach that emphasizes the value of Masters' Union programs.
Admissions Process Optimization: Ensure a seamless process from inquiry to enrollment, constantly optimizing the funnel for efficiency, quality, and conversion rates.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and student feedback. Refine strategies and approaches to ensure Masters' Union stays competitive and meets evolving demands.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, academic, and operations teams to align recruitment efforts with institutional goals and deliver a cohesive experience for prospective students.
Reporting and Analytics: Regularly report on admissions performance, lead generation, P&L metrics, and conversion rates to senior leadership. Use data insights to inform decision-making and process improvements.
Who You Are
- 8+ years in sales leadership, with experience in higher education, student recruitment, or a related sector
- Proven track record in managing P&L, driving sales growth, and achieving revenue targets
- Strong understanding of the admissions process, including lead generation, sales funnel optimization, and student recruitment strategies
- Exceptional communication skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including prospective students, faculty, and senior leadership
- Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring continuous growth and development
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track performance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and improve sales strategies
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet ambitious targets while ensuring a positive experience for prospective students
