Role Overview:
The General Manager - Human Resources will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of Masters' Union. This role will oversee all aspects of HR, including employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and employee relations. The GM - HR will work closely with the leadership team to foster a high-performance culture, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position is based in Gurgaon/Gurugram.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy to support organizational goals.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates, to build a strong and diverse workforce.
- Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees, to drive performance and development.
- Design and administer compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and equitable to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, contributing to organizational growth.
- Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees, to maintain a positive work environment.
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including change management and workforce planning, to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency, to support HR operations and decision-making.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment, improving employee satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and employee relations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis.
- Ability to manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- A Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
