Chief of Staff - Masters' Union (Gurugram, Haryana, India)
Role Summary:
The Chief of Staff (CoS) is a strategic partner to the Leadership, for ensuring organisational alignment on key priorities, driving execution across functions, and enabling the leadership team to operate with high effectiveness. This role combines strategy, execution, communication, and stakeholder management - ideal for high-impact leaders with strong operational experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Business Execution:
- Act as a trusted thought partner to the leadership on strategic planning and major business initiatives.
- Translate organisational goals into actionable plans, milestones, and KPIs.
- Drive and track cross-functional projects to ensure timely execution and results.
- Monitor organisational performance, highlight risks/opportunities, and recommend solutions.
2. Leadership Support & Communication:
- Prepare leadership dashboards, board reports, and executive presentations.
- Manage internal communication on behalf of the CEO when required.
- Facilitate leadership meetings, town halls, and strategy sessions.
- Promote alignment and accountability across teams.
3. Operational Excellence:
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Support OKRs, quarterly planning, and execution cadences.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Operations, etc., to ensure smooth organisational execution.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Manage investor updates, partner relationships, and key client interactions.
5. Special Projects:
- Lead high-priority, confidential, and time-sensitive initiatives.
- Act as project owner when leadership bandwidth is constrained.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5-15 years in strategy, operations, consulting, program management, leadership, or equivalent cross-functional roles. (MBB plus experience in fast growth start up only)
- Business Acumen: Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capability.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to craft executive-level materials.
- Leadership: High emotional intelligence, stakeholder management, and influence without direct authority.
- Work Style: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with strong execution bias
