Mashreq - Senior Manager - Technology - Retail Sector

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of digital products across Channels systems, ensuring seamless front-end and back-end integration.

- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and solution architectures.

- Manage the full systems development lifecycle, including support for existing API services and DevOps infrastructure that underpins CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, and Platform Owners to co-create innovative digital products.

- Partner with Infrastructure, Service Management, Governance, Security, Data Center, and Network teams, as well as third-party vendors and service providers, to maintain 'Run the Bank' operations and uphold production stability.

- Oversee and manage production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.

- Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes to proactively identify and mitigate risks affecting production environments.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, system reliability, and performance optimization.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team and across departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience in managing IT and digital solution delivery within a complex business environment.

- Strong technical expertise in system architecture, API management, front-end/back-end integration, and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines).

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams including product management, engineering, infrastructure, and vendor partners.

- Experience in incident management, risk assessment, and production support in high-availability environments.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
