Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end process of incentive payouts for Retail Banking teams in collaboration with the Business Performance function.

- Automate incentive calculation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy, and develop management reporting mechanisms.

- Independently review, validate, and authorize incentive calculations prepared by the makers, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

- Act as the Incentive Processing Unit (IPU) checker responsible for thorough verification, critical analysis, and effective handling of exceptions and discrepancies.

- Conduct deep-dive investigations into issues, develop root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions and mitigants to prevent recurrence.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies in incentive data, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of exceptions.

- Ensure final sign-off and authorization before incentive payouts are processed and released.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Performance, Finance, and Compliance to ensure seamless incentive processing.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails to support compliance and reporting requirements.

- Drive continuous improvements in incentive processing workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

- Proven experience in incentive processing, preferably within Retail Banking or financial services.

- Strong understanding of incentive plan structures, payout mechanisms, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

- Experience in process automation and working knowledge of incentive calculation tools and systems.

- Ability to perform critical reviews and validations with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.

- Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination and reporting.

- Proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage timelines effectively.

Preferred:

Experience in incentive processing for large banking or financial organizations.

Familiarity with Retail Banking business functions and performance metrics.

Knowledge of regulatory guidelines impacting incentive payouts and compliance.
