Maruti Ispat & Pipes - Head - Corporate Strategy

Job Description :

- Review, analyze, and ensure alignment and visibility of organizational goals across business units.

- Lead strategy review processes including analysis, consolidation, communication, and deep dives to derive actionable insights.

- Develop and drive short-term and long-term corporate strategies aligned with the organization's vision.

- Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps with clearly defined and measurable KPIs.

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities (diversification, partnerships, market entry), including ROI and payback analysis.

- Build robust business cases, financial models, and feasibility studies to support growth initiatives.

- Evaluate, structure, and support execution of Joint Ventures, Mergers, and Acquisitions (M&A), including target identification, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.

- Design and implement strategic dashboards and performance tracking frameworks across functions.

- Drive periodic business reviews with leadership to track performance against strategic goals.

- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure alignment of IT roadmap with business strategy.

- Partner with senior leadership to ensure cross-functional strategic alignment and execution.

- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless implementation of strategic initiatives.

- Analyze technological, legal, sociological, political, and economic trends impacting the Iron & Steel industry and derive actionable insights.

- Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis against domestic and global peers.

- Lead and monitor strategic projects and initiatives by defining project charters and coordinating with cross-functional teams (CFTs).

- Perform market research and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.

- Evaluate post-implementation performance of initiatives to capture learnings and recommend improvements.

- Oversee end-to-end execution and monitoring of multiple strategic projects.

- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to interpret complex data and provide data-driven recommendations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
